No problems at all - glad to give back to a game which gives me so much fun
Saint, nice to see you here mate! Can you do me a favour and change the references to my AA guide in any of the support stickies, etc. to:
http://www.tweakguides.com/AASF_1.html
I no longer write for Tweaktown, so a link to the guide at my new site is appropriate.
Cheers

I'm not a moderator in the support sections of the forums, however I'll pass the information on to them to update the threads as needed. Thanks again!

Persianimmortal
i found that when you set up the physic detail level lower it actually lags the game?
same goes for hardware TL
when i turned this option false my fps went to 5..?
specs
1.2athlon
256mb ( 266 )
geforce2 ( 64mb )
And this you could add in your tweak guide
if you chance these values higher you will get HUGE fps boost
im able to play hospital and arctic at the moment
eventhough m68aimpoint and reflex sights are not usable if these values are setted too high...
DetailTexMipBias=
DefaultTexMipBias=
i think its 0,6 or 0,7 for default wich will still show the scope sights but any higher than that will make it too blurry
detail texmipbias iv setted to 2.00000
it makes game look seriusly BAD, but hey now i cann play new maps =)

Yes, I believe that setting doesn't work properly. I didn't notice any performance difference with it myself, but I might spell out that it might cause problems for people as it did in your case. I'm guessing the Devs will eventually incorporate a 'physics detail level' option into the GUI like UT2004 has.

I already mention that Hardware T&L should not be turned off, I only mention the option so people know what it does
I might mention the mipmap settings, but as you say they can seriously screw up the level of detail in the game. But for the sake of completeness I might include them as I have other options.
Cheers,
Koroush

Nice Guide but needs more tweaks for Win98 there are still alot of us using win98. Other than that it's a great guide.

Unfortunately Windows98 is not supported by Microsoft anymore, and most new drivers also don't support Win98, plus I haven't had a copy of Win98 on my system for several years (using WinXP since late '01). So I can't really write tweaks for older Windows versions, nor to be honest do I recommend you use older Windows versions as they have poor memory management and are no longer safe to use on the internet due to lack of support
