Well the forums seem to be a bit dead lately, so I thought we could liven it up a bit by telling some AA3 war stories.

So this is your chance to brag about your skill, or lack there of in my case .

What is you best or even your worst come back story on AA3?

Don't be shy, I know I'm not going to make fun of anyone because I have had some pretty bad rounds. Especially two days ago it seemed that I was the best player the OTHER team had lol.

I was playing Ally and i was a bit trigger happy, as someone on these forums can attest I will let him comment if he feels the need, and i was racking up the ROE.

I was on the west ally looking out the door under the fire escape and I had just seen an ENM go that direction so I was waiting for him to come back when out of nowhere here comes my team mate. Oh did I mention I had the SAW? Ya it didn't end well for him and then when I went to get him up my own clan member TK's me on accident. Oh great oogally booggaly it was Karma!

So what's your best story?

It wasn't me, but I was spectating a guy watching a corner. A teammate sprints around the corner and the guy lights him up, incapacitating him. It was an accident of course, and he said sorry and all that, and went to heal him. Unfortunately, as he was trying to figure out the buttons, he pressed his melee attack, and killed the guy. Maybe it's one of those "you had to be there" things, but I got a good laugh out of it.

While i don't have a low roe score to begin with, but a few days ago, I was itchy on the trigger and it seemed like every time i seen an NME i would stalk him and out of nowhere!! TEAMMATE TK BAM BAM BAM BAM yup I got em ALL 4 LOL. That happened twice to me two separate rounds my ROE took a hit that day. LOL

Alright, I'll bite:

The game version was v3.0.1 and I was excited to try it out (fixed Auth issues, but couldn't do training [forced to play without getting used to it]). I'd say it was probably my 3rd game (maybe 6th round overall). The map was Alley, the game type was Capture & Hold (?? been playing Killzone2 so not sure if that's the correct term) and we were spawning behind the semi (north maybe). The round is at it's climax where the NME can be anywhere, so I'm creeping down the main street and I pass the hotel/deli area looking [with my twitchy wrist] in all sorts of directions waiting for the ambush when I hear "Medic!". It was coming from straight ahead capture point 'X' (I believe [the other diner closest to NME spawn]). We had a man down, so I figured there was NME nearby, so I'm still creeping with my sights up fixated through the window and didn't see anyone. Take another quick look around the corner (to the right), then quickly to my left, thought "Cool, no one's around". Sprinted across the street, hit Spacebar to quickly open the door and as I do that I accidentally hit my left mouse button and fired a burst into the room. Of which was a teammate reviving the first guy who called for medic, he goes down and I yelled [MOD Edit for TOS Violation], so I run up and start reviving him and from the stairs in front of me was another teammate who thought I was NME and took me out. So he started to revive me when another teammate came in and shot him in the back as he also entered the room. I forget how the round actually ended, so my apologies for the lack of a come-back story.

My sides hurt so bad from laughing after that I had to take a break. It just happened so quick that I knew it was merely a quick reaction-type thing. It went from me thinking I'm [TOS Violation] for doing that to cracking up that I wasn't the only one.

SNIPED.
I just this afternoon had a pretty cool round. I was defending on ranch as sniper and ran out into the north east hill at the beggining of the round. First i didnt see anyone coming so I looked down into the east revien and spotted them, 3 enemies crouching just behind the bridge. I had a birds eye veiw of them. I aimed and took my first shot, hitting the front enemie in the head and killing him. The second enemie back turned around looking for were the shot came from just as I squeezed the trigger a second time tapping him in the head. With his two buddies dead, the third enemie stood up and started sprinting back down the east revien while I took aim. I lead him about 2 feet and squeezed off another round. the bullet struck him in the head, killing him instantly. I killed 3 unsuspecting victims in 3 shots and recieved a deadeye coin for my troubles. all three headshots, all 3 dead. Ive killed 8 people in a round before but this was the most rewarding round ive had.

Nice!!!

I have had a few good rounds on bridge with the DRM like that, but mine were crawling up on the middle bridge side of things and they were just begging to be killed!

Anyone else have some good one?

I know my clan mate did that same thing with the melee instead of heal. He felt so bad that he left the server, only after the guy who had been knocked the hell out laughed so hard did he get back into the game.

I was dead and spectating on the NOBS server today. It's down to one of us on D and one of them on A. The last assault trooper had almost made it to the bell plaza when our guy catches up to him and starts to unload his clip on full auto, missing every shot.

The NME hears it, turns around, and starts to unload HIS clip on our guy, and unloads everything without hitting a shot. At that point they run up to each other and start to do the melee dance, bashing each other about ten times before their guy finally went down. Unbelievably funny to watch. Prolly not so funny to read tho =)

I was playing Impact, killed 3 enemies trying to rush red room objective, then I move to the center and BOOM a friendly nade gets me red. I move around the corner, kill another unsuspecting enemy, then one dude with a saw sees me and him and his buddy chase me while reloading, i just hide in corner with 3 windows. One runs by and BOOM, shoot him in the back of the head, the dude with the SAW knows im in the corner so he holds the trigger and beggins to walk around the corner, I duck, lean and headshot him. Then I go to balcony and nade the other obj room, kill a guy. 6 kills. I think I went that match 18-3. But I always get nice scores.

Now that I think about it Masada (TC) Tk'd me by meleeing me and then did it again to my incap body. Guess he wanted to see if I could die lol. nub.

Only today dueing a VIP escort mission our VIP was incapped in the hotel in Alley, I revived only for him to be incapped again seconds later. Unable to revive again, i patched him up and provided cover while relaaying VIP down needs reviving on team chanel. Eventually a team mate comes along and seems to try healing me, then a downed enemy before finally meleeing the vip

Ranch: Assault and Defend. We're defending and it gets down to the last minutes. I'm in the basement with two other teammates and next thing I know I'm the last one on our team alive. We are all on TS and everyone is looking through my eyes. I go into the objective room and kill one enemy and before I can reload another one comes through the other door into the room. I burst my M16 until I run out of ammo. I'm 10 feet from the guy and decide my best bet is to run at him and melee. So I did. We danced around the room doing the jig both landing semi melee blows until finally we both landed facial shots at the exact same time! We both hit the floor on our backs at the same time also. Laughter erupted on TS as everyone saw it.
I've never played AA original and only have about 11 hours into this game. That scene sold me.

Ok I have one, I just got out of a server for this because it's freakin AWESOME.

I was on bridge playing classic and we were defending. So what does every good defense player do?
Rush the middle of bridge DUH! I get up to the first pillar our side and shot one guy coming around the corner, then another pops his heard out from the right back side of middle and BLAM head shot. I rush around to the left side and start shooting an enemy when one comes of the rail and their SAW gunner sees me from another pillar. I am reloading when he comes around the corner and WAP I melee him in the face and shot his team mate that just came over the rail. I then get the crotch bug and start confirming enemy as I can't shoot now. End of the round I took out 6 guys and confirmed 5 of them....I love good days...

Not much of an exciting story, but I got to use the SDM this morning on bridge defense for one of the few times I do actually get it. I managed to score about 4-5 kills in one round which I was pretty happy with. In another round though, I managed to get 2-3 guys in left patio alone, including their sniper I'm quite sure.

played impact and got nade spammed from zulu obj over to iron gates and died,happens alot on impact,daily!

The good - A number of times now Ive gotten 8 kills in 1 round.. havent got 9 or 10.. damn i suck

the Bad - Just last night, I went to heal a team mate, shallow breathing. ok I move the cursor on OPA and pressed my button.. lit him up like its the 4th of July, instead of healing the gun went off.. nice

the Bad - damn lag nades gotta love them.. on Impact throwing a nade inside a building during a lag round isnt the best idea.. killed myself and 2 others went straight to Jail lol
