We are happy to announce the launch of the America's Army Mentor Program.
In what we believe to be an innovation in gaming, we have recruited some of the most skilled players from the America’s Army community to act as mentors for new players joining the game. Inspired by the teamwork and training integral to success in the Army, Mentors will offer tips to new players, including basic “map survival skills,” affording players the best chance for success while operating as part of a team. In addition, mentors will be available outside of scheduled sessions to assist players who require additional instruction. Sessions will be conducted on official U.S. Army servers and concentrate on specific maps in which all players, both new and old, are welcome to participate.
Complementing the existing technical support available, both on America’s Army IRC (AAIRC) and the Forums, the AAMP will complete the circle of support provided to players and ensure that all members of the AA Community have the most enjoyable experience possible.
The inaugural Mentor Session will be taking place on Friday 16th Jan at 9pm EST.
This will be an Urban Assault training Session concentrating on the following areas of activity.
- General Map Layout
- Navigation from spawn point
- Navigation to Objective
- Defense and Assault choke points/Camp Points
- Useful map tips
The session will last approximately 1 hour and session notes will be sent to all those attending.
In order to sign up for this session please post in the Mentor Session Sign Up Thread requesting to attend. You will then be contacted with further details via PM. Places are limited and work on a first come first served basis so don't delay, sign up today!!

We will be catering for Euro times (being in the UK myself ) once we are up and running.
We have Euro Mentors and will probably be looking at doing a European session in the next few weeks as a trial to see how much interest there is.
Hope to see you there.

Congratulations to everyone involved, but especially the Mentor's. I know how much you guys poured into this project, and I'm proud to see your idea brought to life.

The first session was very detailed and perfect for a beginner! All the effort put in is much appreciated and the delivery of it was very professional! I encourage anyone who has the time to attend!
