Low Disk space on Drive C error
=============================================================

Currently, America’s Army requires approximately 3.6GB of free disk space in order to install the latest patch (2.7GB of which is for temporary files that are deleted once the installation has completed). If you have less than this required amount of free disk space you have the ability to specify a temp directory on another drive which will be

To do so, please take the following steps:

1) Create a folder named “Temp Folder” on a drive other than C:

2) After you have created that folder, right click on “My Computer” and select “Properties”

3) Click the “Advanced” Tab

4) Click “Environment Variables”

5) Under “User variables for <user name>” select TMP which is under the Variable column and click “Edit”

6) At this time we recommend that you copy and paste the current variable value into Notepad (or your preferred text editor) so you will be able to revert the changes once you have completed this process

7) Once you have copied and pasted the default value, enter the path of the “Temp Folder” that you created (i.e. D:\Temp Folder)

8 ) Click “OK” in the Edit User Variable window and then click “OK” in the Environmental Variables window

9) Now run the America’s Army patch

10) Once the patch process has completed, the files should be deleted from the “Temp Folder” and you can revert the changes made in the Environmental Variables by following steps 2 – 8 once again.

=============================================================

To enable Voice Activated Command you will first need to download the Microsoft Speech SDK 5.1 (SpeechSDK51.exe) which can be found http://www.microsoft.com/downl...Lang=en

Once you have successfully downloaded and installed the Speech SDK you will need to train it by doing the following:

- Go to your control panel and select “Sound, Speech, and Audio Devices”

- Select “Speech”, which will bring up a Speech properties window

- Under “Recognition Profiles” click “Train Prfile…”

- You will then be asked to select a training session

- Follow the training session (for best results it is best to do at least two training sessions)

- All communications are linked to phrases by default and can be configured in the Settings page > Input tab > Configure Communication

- To execute a voice activated command, simply hold down the microphone (the default is “Ctrl” and speak the phrase of the desired communications message or action (i.e. Enemy Spotted).

Logitech G15 Keyboard setup
=============================================================

You simply need to ensure that you have v1.04 or later of the G-series keyboard software, ensure that the LCD manager is running (it will appear in the task bar) and launch America’s Army. If you wish to disable the America’s Army G-15 functionality, simply open the LCD manager and uncheck AASF: OverMatch 2.8.2.

The manufacturer software (latest driver) for the Logitech G15 can be found here.

While using the Logitech G15 LCD Display feature, use the four "tab" buttons below the screen to alternate between different statistical screens. The first tab screen displays version information, the second screen displays Server information, the third splash screen displays weaponary information and the fourth screen displays player-specific information.
