I don't know if this was posted already, but I find it very interesting.
http://www.gamespy.com/pc/amer...p1.html - Article
http://www.unr.edu/art/DELAPPE...IN.html - His personal website
It's a 3 page article, it talks about a user called dead_in_iraq who posts the names of soldiers who died in Iraq. He joins many servers, I'm guessing pissing off everyone probably due to endless spamming. His goal is to type all 2000+ soldiers who died in Iraq names. Now, I completely disagree with his views and I don't think typing names on any AA server truly honors our brave soldiers who gave their lives, but it's freedom of speech and this way if very annoying yet very interesting and unique. It'll be very interesting to see if anyone played with this guy online.

I respect his views. However, I'm joining a server to play a game, not to see his protest. I'd probably VK him just the same, but I won't cuss him out. He has the right to say whatever he wants to, but I have the right to play the game and not be bugged.

I believe he wants us to be bugged so he could get his message straight. If he doesn't see us react to what he says, his words don't become effective. The article states many people TK him lol, I wouldn't do that. Though, VK sounds a good option, I'd rather debate him, if he is willing to agree.

^^^Kind of funny. Either someone was trying to cheat or he went to a cheat server. Either way both the dudes talking are utter losers.
That said, I DON'T respect the guys position, though I do respect him. That takes a lot of work.
Even though I think it's funny that he shot guns at the boards in training. Lol.

This isn't freedom of speech. If I were a server admin I would ban him. He can write an editorial, or do a plethora of other things that are protected under the notion of freedom of speech. Going into a server paid for by someone else, and doing this against their wishes is not protected under freedom of speech.

It would have been a good gesture if he wasn't doing it to score a political point. It comes off as phony as hell.

Those screenshots are REALLY old. They still say [OpFor] instead of [Enemy].

Did one of you guys write this article?
I was quoted in it via this thread. I only found it by doing a search for westudi on google. I found the idea amusing.
