TWL AA was put on hold due to some problems with 2.4 I guess there are quite a few bug exploitations going on so they locked the ladders. Any comments, thoughts... clean ones.

TeamWarFare ( TWL ) locked his Ladders because in the new Version are too many Bugs. I heared that the [TOS Violation] works again and that Bugs with Fog and Flash are new.

I hope that we get a fast Bugfix..

As there are "buildt in hacks" for 2.4, which for whatever reason was not repaired due to the final public release, AA is unplayable on a competative level.
There has been suggestions about solving it with recording "DemoRec" videos, but over at TWL we have hundreds of matches per week, it's an impossible solution.

Therefore, it seems as TWL is put on hold until a bugfix is released, or they (TWL administrators) agree on a rollback to 2.3.
This will however lead to another problem, the servers.
Servers on Allfrag, SCi etc. has already been upgraded to 2.4, and it's going to be hard making them roll them back.

As a ladder admin for TWL. i completely agree with the decision to put it on hold. matches simply would not be fair with the extreme amount of bugs. although you CAN challange teams again they do not have to accept the match and can ask to have the match killed. which i also agree with. hopefully something will be worked out so we can resume ladder and league play ASAP. It really stinks when all these bugs come out and ruin competetive play for those of us who like to play.

the biggest thing they are having to deal with right now is the ghost bug. Which at times when you die you can surf the whole map when your dead like your in mpcheat ghost mode.. that bug is what is hurting the AA competition community the most.

What I do not understand is why put together a temporary Ladder specifically for 2.4? Is this some way to placate the masses by giving them something they can not take part in?

I say down with TWL. I say the lack of proper communication and the lack of proper administration with TWL will be the downfall of the ladder.

Honestly, nothing against TWL, but their choice to bring out temporary ladders that aren't even going to help those apart of the regular ladders is b.s..... TCZ is offering a new ladder system and new challenge system that is superior to TWL. We will make sure that all ladders are up and running at all times.

uhh no TCZ is bad, and the point of the temporary ladders is soo that people can continue playing matches.. just not as serious as the regular ladders.. so gl with TCZ

i like how you bash twl to make your ladder look better. TWL has some of the most mature, competent and fair admins involved in all gaming. the decision to put a hold on competitive play was asked for by a majority of the players

edit: what to yo myean tcz will rise tot he top once again? i have never heard of them before.

Yea, flat out saying another ladder is bad just to get you some teams is downright wrong. i hope u shrivel like a worm in water!
