 Collision Issue In Bridge

I dont really consider this a bug since a bug is really a coding issue and this is a map issue.

One of the ledges static mesh on the map, has its collision flag set to either "blockweaponsonly" or "none", or dont have a blocking volume around it. The ledge is on the defense's side, stairs side of the street about half way back.

there's a couple of these I think - or at least there used to be a couple - some may have been fixed.

A player clip error occurs when the shader for a texture does not contain the player clip param or when a player clip brush was not drawn around a brush using a texture that normally does not have said param assigned to it.

dude this was reported at least 2 times besides u.
one by me, another one by someone who didn't saw my post in search and another one by u.

there's another one on defense side:
around the bell are 4 rectangles the right bottom one is the same, u can have a defensive view of objective and be shielded from fire (you're gun has to be sticking out because if you're too inside you'll hit the wall, but you can lay in it...)

on bridge (not classic game but that suitcase thing) it's possiable to get to the right 'courtyard' or 2nd patio from the original patio on the right side of the bridge (opposite the stairs)
I don't know how you get there but I saw someone in there a couple of times, must be a bug in the map...



the programmers don't read the forum, the bugs are read and collected by a 3rd company (AGP, couldn't find a different name then a computer socket?!?) and since they have a huge list of bugs (they tell the review sites not to review it yet because it's completely bugged and unready for "prime time"

so I think it's pointless to report any more bugs, feedback and whatever until the game gets more stable or by the end of 2010 by which time the game SHOULD become what it should have been at the start, with all the features and extra maps working.

THEN we can discuss bugs, when the programmers are free

Yeah, then it will be time to trash it for AA4. Laughing

The whole bug reporting process looks like it's ignored from our end, I wonder if this is a shader bug.

I'm kind of thinking (besides the fact that someone in management isn't doing is job well) that the programmers are doing other things besides programming for the game.
I don't know how long it should take and could be wrong but there seems to be a long delay between patches
