Battle-HQ Official Advertisement Post
_____________________________________
Delivering your battle tomorrow, today!
Introduction:
Welcome to the Battle-HQ official advertisement post. The Battle-HQ Staff would like to
inform all players of AA2, AA3, Call of Duty and many other games prior to their knowledge of these games that YOU can be a participant and player of Battle-HQ.
EU and NA players are all welcome. There are currently no restrictions wherever you live.
Battle-HQ hasn't been around for that long so your knowledge and involvement with Battle-HQ may be very limited.
We are currently trying to build up the roster list for all ladders, leagues and tournaments.
We would appreciate it if we could get as many registrants and team registrants as possible hence the reason to make this NEW competition community; active, reliable and interesting.
Battle-HQ has only been founded for nearly 2 months so all services co-alongside of Battle-HQ are still under development; therefore we are getting them ready as well. However, we don't want that as an excuse to not get going because we want to get under way as soon as possible! However, we really do need sign ups/registrants for teams and players.
Ladders:
Within Battle-HQ, there are a variety of ladders which you may compete and participate in.
Some of which are amongst the ladders details which you can locate here: http://battle-hq.com/pc/ladders.php
Xbox, PS3 and other console games are under investment and we will soon be giving everyone an update on what is going to happen with those multiplayer games.
The ladder setups when referring to how many players can play in the match can be determined whether the ladder supports it.
For example: One of the AA2 ladders is called: AA Singles - This represents the fact that this is a 1on1 ladder.
If you were to find a ladder name which is: AA Teams -This can be known as either a 2v2, 4v4, 5v5, 6v6 etc depending on your and your opponents servers slot limit and decision.
Anti Cheat Software:
We are pleased to announce that CheatBusted have set a deal with us and they will be providing us with an Anti Cheat System which will be used in ALL MATCHES.
Any misuse, avoidment or tweaking of the software will result in a ban from Battle-HQ and a report; UNLESS the admins have given you a fix in a support ticket which you MUST create if you wish to receive technical assistance.
Battle-HQ CVAR scripts may be on the way depending on CheatBusteds Public Devs time and knowledge of the sophisticated project.
Staff:
The staff at Battle-HQ are very reliable, trustworthy and are a great service to work for and with.
Hence the reason why no underestimating of Staff was involved when reviewing the Applications of players wanting to commit their time and willingness to help out by becoming a ladder/league/tournament admin.
There are a variety of Staff Positions to choose from. Due to the fresh start of a new community, we are currently looking for Staff members for the Battle-HQ ladders, tournaments and leagues.
You can find the current staff members and their positions here: http://battle-hq.com/pc/staff.php
As I said previously, we are looking for more Competition Staff members. In order to become a Staff member, you must apply using the following link:
http://battle-hq.com/pc/apply.php
All staff applications will be reviewed by the majority of existing staff members and we will determine a decision as soon as possible.
You will be contacted via email once we have come to a conclusion.
Ladder/Tournament Prizes:
We are at the stage of setting up prize competing tournaments for the AA3 and AA2 singles ladder.
The prize for 1st place: $100
The prize for 2nd and 3rd place: To Be Decided - VERY SOON!
We are very pleased to announce that this will take place and it will take place very soon!
More information can be found on the tournaments specific game page.
How we can register ourselves and our team on the ladders?:
Battle-HQ has acknowledged the fact that simplicity is the key which we have verified and confirmed amongst not only us, but other competition communities as well.
Firstly, all you need to do is head towards the official Battle-Headquarters website and register your account: http://www.battle-hq.com/pc/
Secondly, please login once you have created your account. As we said previously, simplicity is the key which is why we have included all of the drop down menu services as the navigation menu related to the competition community and excluded all of the tabs which are irrelevant to our objective.
Thirdly, on the navigation menu (Tabs bar), you will find the 'Ladders' tab. Please hover this and then find a game ladder you wish to join.
Once you have found the appealing game ladder you want to join, simply click it which will then take you to a page showing the current teams signed up on that specific ladder. Select 'Join Ladder' to register yourself or team.
Fourthly, you will be required to fill out your Team page information in order to join the ladder(s).
Now, the tricky part is getting your clan/team members to join your team on the ladder if you registered your team for the 'Teams' ladder.
However, you will get used to it. No password is required to join your team roster, however, only the 'Generals' of your team roster may invite other players to your roster.
To acheive this, you must go to your team page and choose 'Edit Info'
You will then need to click on the 'Members' button corresponding to your team profile.
Finally, you will then need to invite the member to your team roster. (You need their exact Battle-HQ Username)
The player will then be sent a Team Invite message which s/he can accept or decline on her/his PM. (S/He can find the message at the top right once s/he has logged in to Battle-HQ)
Battle-HQ Forums:
The Battle-HQ forums are now up and running and can be located either by clicking the Forums tab or going here: http://battle-hq.com/pc/forum/index.php
You may need to also create an account here depending on whether we have tweaked the system on using the same database which holds your account information on the main website.
All of the games categories which Battle-HQ supports can be found here under the ladders/tournaments drop down menu. I.e. Americas Army 2, Americas Army 3 etc.
You may submit bug reports which you have experienced on the Anti Cheat Software or the Website itself.
That is very much appreciated as we always encourage the players' feedback.
Now, there is staff for Technical issues where the staff will be able to assist you with the issues you are encountering.
In respect to your issue, you will need to create a support ticket which will be reviewed and replied to by an admin.
Patience is appreciated, however, we feel your frustration when you get problems and we will help you as soon as possible.
Any in-depth issues will be transferred to the Anti Cheat department if you encounter in depth technical issues with the Battle-HQ AC software.
You may post as many topics and posts as you wish within the Battle-HQ forums, however, spam may be deleted by the Forum Moderators.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, Battle-HQ will reach their objective in a wise, respectful and efficient way. This, in this case is to give all players a fair, great and respectful competition community. Equality is a major demand on our minds right now.
