I don't see it in Add/Remove Programs. There's also a AASM171.exe in the main folder but not sure what it is.

Windows 7 64-bit by the way.

How did you install it?
The game it self only leaves a key in the registry, so if you delete the game and the key and every shortcut, it should be gone.
The AASM file is the server manager.

I had to get the huge .fmap file or something. Since the Deploy Client would not download.

After I got the large 2 gig and something file, then I ran the Deploy Client again and then it offered to Install

EDIT: No, not .gam it was a .fmap

It's in documents and settings. alternately, search for .fmap

Dude, how do I uninstall ? I installed using the .fmap and the Deploy Client.

So then I killed the .fmap. Now I have AA2 installed

open deploy client
click options
select uninstall
reboot
delete all files located here:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AA3DeployClient\dcds (XP)
C:\Users\<MACHINE NAME>\AppData\Local\AA3DeployClient\DCDS (Vista)
C:\ProgramData\AA3DeployClient\dcds (WIN7)

I just Shift+Delete'd the folder, ah wells

May I suggest Revo Uninstaller or a program similar to that. You can get them free, from Download.
com. I use it almost exclusively on all my uninstalls. It does a mighty fine job of finding all files &
reference to what I am un-installing. Word of caution though: Carefully read what it shows you, on
the left over files part. I did not pay attention to a Steam program I was getting rid of and it took
out my AA3, all but the desktop shorcut. LOL. Best wishes, if you have already taken care of this,
then disregard me.

1) Click on the 'Start' button, click on the 'Control Panel' icon, and then double click on 'Add or Remove Programs'.
2) Select 'America's Army' by clicking on it, and then click on the 'Remove' button.
3) Follow the instructions until you are informed that America's Army has been uninstalled.
4) Restart your computer by clicking the 'Start' button, clicking 'Turn Off Computer', and then selecting the 'Restart' option.
5) Delete your America's Army install directory. You can browse to this location by clicking on the 'Start' button, selecting 'My Computer', then double clicking on the appropriate folders/drives. By default, the installation directory is "C:\Program Files\America's Army".
6) Click on the 'Start' button, select 'Run', and then type "regedit" into the prompt that pops up. Click on the 'OK' button to continue.
7) In the Registry Editor, double click on the 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE' folder.
8) When that folder has expanded, double click on the 'SOFTWARE' folder.
9) Scroll down until you see a folder called 'US Army'. Right click this folder, then select 'Delete'.
10) Click 'Yes' on the following prompt.
11) Re-download the latest version of America's Army. You can find an official download link from http://www.americasarmy.com/downloads/.
12) Install the game again using this newly downloaded installation package.
13) Create a brand new account (http://login.americasarmy.com/register), do the training and never download a hack or cheat program again.

That is the long way, Revo Unistaller will do all that for you and present all hidden files for your
perusal and/or removal, as you deem necessary. Much simipler.
